Hunters, competitive shooters, and recreational shooters all find what they need for their rifle or handgun. You can find just about any bullet type to fit your specific reloading requirements.
We manufacture bullets in various styles for different applications. Hollow point bullets for self-defense applications. Round nose and flat nose designs for target shooting. Full metal jacket styles for longer range applications. Our copper-plated bullets are indoor range safe and incredibly accurate. Shooters around the world trust Berry’s to deliver exceptional quality every time.
Berry’s manufacturing process for bulk bullets starts with precision and ends with quality assurance.
Starting with a Solid Core: Every bullet begins with our swaging process. We form the lead core under high pressure. This creates uniform density throughout the core. Better density means better stability when the bullet flies downrange.
The Copper-Plating Process: Each swaged core goes into a copper solution. Electric current creates a chemical reaction. This puts a thin, tough copper layer on the lead core. The result? A bullet with no lead exposure that’s safe for indoor ranges.
Re-Striking Process: After plating, bullets get re-struck through a die. This step sets exact specs like length and diameter. Re-striking makes the copper and lead bond stronger. It smooths out any small flaws from plating.
Quality Assurance: Every bullet gets checked before shipping. We make sure each one meets our standards for accuracy and performance. This process puts Berry’s copper-plated bullets ahead of cast and lead bullet competition.
Our bulk bullets offer advantages over jacketed and cast options:
Plated Bullets: Made by electroplating copper around a lead core. Complete plating reduces lead fouling in the barrel, which means less maintenance and improved accuracy. You can find plated bullets at competitive prices compared to jacketed. Great when loaded in rifle ammo, handgun ammo, and rimfire ammo for target shooting and competition.
Jacketed: Made with a copper jacket around a lead core. Typically stronger than cast or plated bullets, which means they can be fired at higher velocities. More suitable for hunting applications but cost more than plated options.
Cast: Made by pouring molten lead into a mold. The biggest advantage is affordability. Tend to cause more lead fouling than other bullet types, which has long-term effects on accuracy and requires more maintenance.
Plated bullets offer the perfect balance between performance and affordability for bulk ammunition needs.
