Have loaded 1000 rds for use in my LC Carbine and Thompson 1927A1. Feeds and fires perfectly in both with better than acceptable accuracy. My new go-to bullet for fun plinking.з>
I’ve been reloading 147 and 158 grain for a long time for my subsonic loads but recently discovered I can make 115 grain subsonics that cycle in semi automatics. These do t drop as soon because they are much lighter,…з>
Loaded up my first batch of these 185 grn FN and really like them. They feed just fine in all my guns and have amazing accuracy, ragged holes at 7 & 15 yds. Only reloading note, I had to seat…з>

**Disappointing Performance Compared to Other Berry’s Bullets**
I’ve used Berry’s 9mm Round Nose and Target HP bullets in the past with excellent results, so I was confident when I purchased a box of 1,000 of the 124 gr Flat Point bullets (Part #10400). Unfortunately, my experience with these bullets was very disappointing.
I loaded 60 rounds to test across several different 9mm firearms. Every single firearm experienced feeding issues. Out of just 60 rounds, I encountered 12 misfeeds, which is far beyond what I would consider acceptable. To rule out a loading problem, I checked my ammunition with calipers and confirmed an overall length of 1.06″. Everything measured correctly.
To verify the issue wasn’t related to the firearms or my load data, I switched back to some Berry’s Target HP rounds I had remaining and fired 100 rounds without a single malfunction. That comparison made it clear that the flat point bullets were the source of the feeding problems in my setup.
While I’ve been very satisfied with other Berry’s products, these 124 gr Flat Point bullets simply did not work for me and I will not be purchasing them again.

I have been using these bullets for several years, ever since Ranier went out of business. They are consistent and reliable for practice loads. My general purpose practice load (used most often in my HK P7M8 but also in my Remington R51) is 4.0 gr. of WIN 231, COL = 1.050″. Vavg is usually around 935-950 fps, depending on conditions. They don’t leave copper fouling in my barrels and are very reasonably priced vis-a-vis jacketed bullets. I highly recommend them.
