Our 9mm 124gr Round Nose bullets have long been a favorite among shooters in the United States, offering dependable performance across a variety of pistols. These 124 grain bullets are particularly well-suited for popular handguns like the S&W M&P, where bullet weight is optimized for higher velocity with reduced felt recoil. The result is a balance of accuracy, lighter recoil impulse, and manageable muzzle energy that shooters demand.

Unlike traditional lead bullets, Berry’s plated bullet design reduces lead exposure while maintaining high quality and accuracy. This makes them safe for both indoor ranges and outdoor training environments. Their round nose profile ensures smooth feeding and consistent performance in different pistol models, pistol caliber carbines, and longer barrel setups. Whether you’re practicing at the range, loading a soft shooting start load, or looking for reliable grain bullets for recreational shooting, these 9mm bullets deliver consistent real-world results.

I’ve loaded over a hundred fifty of these bullets and run them through my Kel-Tec 2000 9mm carbine . They work great. Using my reloading data I’ve seated these at 1..150 and they’ve worked great with the powder I’m using. I’ve run them just above 1,200 fps and accuracy has been spot on at 75 yards. I use Lee’s pistol dies with a light crimp, definitely buying more

Why Choose 9mm 124gr Round Nose Bullets

Berry’s 9mm 124gr Round Nose bullets are engineered for range use, training, and recreational shooting. Their plated bullet design provides consistent fps velocity, reduced perceived recoil, and smoother feeding across popular 9mm Luger pistols and pistol caliber carbines. With carefully balanced bullet weight, they offer a power factor that makes them reliable for competition shooters and hobbyists alike.

While Berry’s also offers specialized hollow point options for defensive loads, the round nose bullet design remains a cost-effective choice for shooters who value high quality without the premium price of carry ammo. Their predictable recoil impulse, stable sectional density, and accuracy across different yards make them perfect for extended shooting sessions. These bullets are not intended for self defense but are ideal for range training, practice drills, and recreational shooting where repeatable results matter most.

Other 124gr Options from Berry’s

Our plated bullet collection includes multiple 124gr profiles designed for accuracy, reliability, and specific shooting purposes:

  • FLAT POINT: Used for range practice and training loads. Provides reliable feeding with stronger energy transfer than round nose bullets.
  • HOLLOW BASE ROUND NOSE (THICK PLATE): Designed for training and target shooting. Added plating supports higher velocity loads and longer barrel firearms while reducing barrel fouling.
  • HYBRID HOLLOW POINT: Intended for self-defense and carry ammo when loaded in defensive cartridges. Precision cavity design ensures reliable expansion, deeper penetration, and consistent accuracy.
  • TARGET HOLLOW POINT: Made for target practice and competition. Cuts clean holes in paper targets for improved scoring visibility.

Our Bullet-Making Process

At Berry’s Bullets, we craft premium plated bullets through a proven four-step process:

  1. Swaging the Core: We form uniform lead cores under high pressure, ensuring precise bullet weight and consistent accuracy.
  2. Electroplating: Each core is fully copper-plated, eliminating lead exposure while enhancing bullet corrosion resistance and durability.
  3. Re-Strike for Precision: Every bullet is re-struck to exact diameter and length specifications, improving load data reliability and ensuring consistent muzzle velocity.
  4. Quality Control: We inspect bullet weight, plating uniformity, and dimensions. This guarantees every bullet you load is accurate, safe, and high quality.

With over 60 years of experience, Berry’s delivers plated bullets that meet the needs of today’s shooters at indoor ranges, outdoor yards, and everywhere in between.
